Short Bio
Dr. Rausch, the PI of the Soft Tissue Biomechanics Laboratory, calls himself a proud Longhorn since January 2017. Before joining the UT community as a tenure-track faculty in the Department of Aerospace Engineering & Engineering Mechanics, he was the Director of R&D for a small medical device start-up. He received his academic training at Stanford University, Yale University, Georgia Tech, ETH Zurich, University of Utah, and University of Stuttgart. Fun fact, Texas is Dr. Rausch’s 8th state that he has lived in.
